The
actual female Asian Leopard Cat (ALC)
weighs only about 10 pounds. The male
ALCs can get up to 22 pounds.
The
average Bengal Cat only reaches to 10
pounds (Female) - and approximately
15 pounds for the males. This is about
the same as any other house cat.
Some
of the larger cat breeds are the Persians;
weighing up to 15 pounds, and the Maine
Coon breed can reach well over 20 pounds!
So Bengal Cats aren't so
big!
